‘Jackie’ Opens Iris Prize Film Festival
We are excited to announce that Randan’s short archive documentary ‘Jackie’ will have its premiere tonight in Cardiff at the Opening Night of Iris Prize Film Festival. The film is directed by Emily Sargent, and produced by Reece Cargan (Randan) and Emma Pais, with Sarah Keeling as the editor.
‘Jackie’ tells the story of Jackie Forster; a groundbreaking, outrageous — and largely unknown — LGBT+ rights campaigner whose underground donor sperm operation helped the first queer women to have children.
Jackie has been made possible thanks to the Iris Prize Documentary Film Finance Fund sponsored by OUTFlix and will be broadcasted in Canada on OUTtv this December.
We can't wait to share this important film!
