‘Leonora in the Morning Light’ travels the world
Leonora in the Morning Light directed by Thor Klein and Lena Vurma, has entered the festival circuit to a warm reception, and plans are underway for theatrical rollouts in key markets. The biopic chronicles the life and artistic evolution of surrealist painter Leonora Carrington, from her early years in England to her encounters with the Paris surrealists and her final exile in Mexico.
This international co-production, co-produced by Randan’s James Heath, spanned across Germany, Mexico, Romania, and the UK. The film had it’s joint premiere in Mexico (Guadalajara Film Festival) and Germany (Munich Film Festival).The next upcoming festival for the film is the Chicago Film Festival next week, which will also feature Spilt Milk, produced by James Heath.

In Germany and Austria, theatrical distribution is handled by Alamode Filmdistribution. In Mexico, release is planned under distributor Piano. In Romania, Transilvania Film is on board as distributor.
